Top Town Chef is a personal chef service that specializes in providing luxury dining experiences.  We work onsite at your location of choice to perform high quality meals with top notch service.  Our team of certified staff is sure to handle your event with great care and the utmost professionalism.  Everything from menu preparations, food service, table settings and clean up is included to help make your experience one to remember.


    As our community grows, so do we!  It is with great pleasure to announce that Top Town Chef is now collaborating with AirBnB hosts to elevate the guest experience by offering “Welcome to the Cabin” gift boxes.  Treat your guests to a custom foodie welcome box of your choice to make their stay feel extra special.  We offer various boxes to accommodate family gatherings, dietary restrictions and romantic getaways.


Top Town Chef is a small woman owned business created in 2019.  We are located in Crestline, California in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains.

Chef Sara

Chef Sara began her culinary adventure in 2009 at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts in Pasadena California to study the art of Patisserie and Baking.  During her externship in 2010, Sara moved to Big Bend National Park and ignited her passion for working on the line as a savory cook at the resort restaurant.  After nearly two years cooking out of state, she returned home and pursued employment in Hollywood at a trendy french inspired wine bar.  This is where her love for artisan cheeses, charcuterie, coffee and fine wine began to take form.  To further her experience while in Hollywood, Sara worked part time at a German Inspired Biergarten where she enhanced her skills as a garde manger line cook under the direction of Chef Jamie Lauren.  In 2012 Sara became pregnant and decided it was time to search for more stability and security in her work environment.  She applied for a position at The University of Southern California and was hired as a line cook for their fine dining restaurant, Moreton Fig.  This is where she would spend the next five and a half years dedicated to honing her craft while raising her son.   


    In 2018, Sara was given the opportunity to move from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles city life to the peaceful town of Crestline in the San Bernardino Mountains.  She found a new kitchen home at The Pines Steakhouse at San Manuel Casino but soon learned that the corporate kitchen was no longer a vision in her future career.  Five months later she decided to resign and work locally as a breakfast and special events chef for The SkyForest Inn.  As the busy season came to an end, Sara was looking for ways to earn extra income while doing what she loves.  The idea of becoming a personal chef was tossed around and soon became the route of choice.  Not long after, she accepted her first event to cook for a child’s birthday party in the park.  At the completion of her first event, Sara felt enlightened and appreciated, it was the direct relationship with the client that inspired her to continue providing services as more inquiries kept coming in.  By December 2018, Top Town Chef was created and became a full time business.   Since then Sara has participated in fundraisers, volunteered for children’s demonstrations, is a part of her local community chamber, has been featured in the San Diego Star Magazine, Crestline’s local seasonal magazine, and will also be a featured contestant on a new upcoming culinary competition show. 

Sara lives in Crestline with her partner in life and business John, her son Lucas, and two dogs Tee Cee & Hula.  She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, attending her son’s little league games, walks at Lake Gregory, trips to seasonal farmers markets, trying new restaurants, and supporting local small businesses.
